When Animals Complain

​Animals, big and small, fast and slow, wild and domestic and even those who soar the sky, live on land and in the seas come together to bear out their grievances in 'When Animals Complain'. The cause? Man. Yes, you and I. This book was a little sad. The animals remind man of everything he has learned from them, and how glad they were to share. However, they are distraught by how they are treated in return. No one can deny that airplanes are not inspired by the birds that we see in the sky; from the beak to the wings, to the tail. Yet, man cuts down and destroys their home and kills them for sport. This​ ​made me realize the little ways we harm animals rather than protect them in whatever way we can. Such an excellent book for an animal lover, and a way to educate kids on how important animals are on earth.
